Basic Keeping For TVR

Some of the things that you may want to know on TVR keeping.

1st: setup for your goldfish tank or tubs
Questions: what is the best setup for your goldfish tank and tubs?

Answer:
1) I would say there is no best setup that suit all of us at the same time. As the time we willing to spent for the fish are all different.

2) There is many style of keeping TVR exp 1): bio filter for your tubs. As for bio filter itself we have overhead filter, sump tank, Etc.

3) Don’t use internal filter for goldfish as the shit are still in the tank no matter how clear is your water. It may cause your fish get sick very easily.

4) For sponge filter at 1st few week it will looks good for your fish but if you don’t wash clean for every parts of the sponge filter it may cause danger to your fish in long run. How many times do you need to wash it in a week? My answer to you is if you can try to wash every 1 to 2days that is much safer for your fish. But of cos if can don’t use it. Do water change everyday that will be good for your fish.

2nd: How many can I keep in a tub

Questions: If I have a tub that is 1m X 1m X 1ft height how many fish can I keep in there?

Answer:
1) For BBR we can keep up to 10pieces, CBR can keep up to 7pieces, For Jr. Tosai can keep 5pieces, Tosai can keep up to 4pieces, Nisai can keep up to 3pieces as for Oya can keep 2pieces the most.

2) For the above you need to do 50% water change everyday for Ranchu have a better growing environment. If you feed very heavy then you need to change every morning and evening or night.

3th: Feeding

Questions: How many times do I need to feed my goldfish?

Answer:
1) Min. 3 times there is no max times. But take note the more you feed more water change you have to do for your TVR. To prevent your TVR to be sick. Things to take note. “ Feed them bit by bit dun feed too many at one time because that will cost your water to turn bad real fast.
